Video Description: The super affordable Moto E by Motorola has gotten tons of praise for being a great device for such a low price and I have to agree that it is probably the best device I've used for under $130 off contract. But, that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. Rooting aka gaining administrative rights on a device can open up a whole world of possibilites for this little handset. From loading custom ROMs like Cyanogen to flashing mods to increase battery life, there's a ton you can do. Motorola recently released an OTA update to the Moto E to bring it up to Android 4.4.4 that sort of threw a wrench in the way we were rooting it before that so coming up with this method wasn't terribly easy (involved a lot of researching through forums etc.). Regardless though, it was managed to get rooted and even to have a custom recovery as well. So, without further ado, here's how to root the Moto E.   4. hi i rooted my moto e but after rooting i tried to install cyanogen rom but failed... and tried sseveral times and took backup several timss.... but now my internal memory is very low.... now am unable too install single app in moto e... it is showing 220mb free sspace... pls help me how to re do all these now... or i want free space in internal memory...
  5. hi i used this method to root my moto e first gen... when i tried to flash anothr rom took backup of custom rom but failed to flash the new rom... tried two to three times but failed.... all the times i took backup again and again.... now my custom rom that is andrd 5.1 is showing low internel memory only 220mb... am unable instal single app now.... please help.... what should i doo.... with link please..... am stuck.....
  6. I want to root my device, but am a bit worried - at 3:46 you say once it is rooted the device will have "wiped itself" - would I have to re-install all my apps and transfer files back like pictures and music?

  9. Update...So no upgrade to 5.1 eh? Looks like this device is forever locked in KitKat 4.4, whatever, I use it as an Ipod and Text Now app makes an awesome way to use it as a Wi-Fi Phone

  14. what really kills me is when they brought the tourney director over and took another 3-4 more minutes, just stick to the 2 minute rule and then call the clock and if everyone would have just shut up. it would go by faster. then that is the way to take care of Will. also going under the table and using a hoodie like phil laak on an all in , isnt a bad idea either. this was getting annoying. I remember playing online and you only took 30 seconds, 2 minutes is enough time. hope the rest of the wsop tourney goes smoother

  16. boot up failed when going to recovery by pressi g vol up
  17. Been able to follow everything up to flashing recovery. My 'Fastboot Flash Mode' screen looks totally different than any ones screen. (Did some research first) Flashing recovery is no problem, the problem lies in selecting it. My down and up arrows go threw the menu options, and the power button activates said option. When I activate the 'recovery mode' option I quickly see the bootload warning screen then it goes back to my Fastboot menu. Upon looking into this further I see under 'Bootloader Logs' that it says 'Boot up failed' This is where I've come to a crashing halt. Any help out there?

    PS: My phone still boots just fine with no lose of any of my info.

  20. hey, my device is not rebooting...its stuck in showing the M symbol with a white screen after unlocking bootloader...please help !
