  4. Windows, windows, windows, sigh! I've got Windows Home Premium 64bits (was upgraded from originally Vista on an ACER laptop. I don't have the "Recovery Management" option either like so many have said. However, if you bring up Start->Computer->Manage->Disk Management it'll show a volume on the disk listed as "Recovery Partition". It's 12 GB in size. Can't open that partition to look at it though. What are these computer manufacturer doing? Why do they load a copy of Windows on some machines and some not? Why have a named partition called Recovery and nothing in it? Can anyone think of a better way to frustrate people? Just include the Windows CDs with the PC just like it was when PCs first came out. How many customers have suffered and lost hours trying to fix their PCs so that they can save $$$ on a set of discs.
