  1. Why make things so difficult? I was thinking this was going to make the transfer much faster or something good. What a waste of time! The next video you make should be, "How to make computer tasks difficult: Lesson 1: Encrypt your hard drive with a random 128 character password & don't save it anywhere. Just try to remember it. After reboot in safe mode for no reason, try to guess the password until you get it. If not, then reformat your drive and try to remember all the programs you had saved and install them one file at a time by downloading from the darknet while using Tor & making sure you have Tor installed on a Windows platform (Worst thing you could ever do) Next, go to a child porn site using your google username & password & just download everything you can until the Feds show up to give you a new home for about 10 yrs. Finally, think about how you're gonna get out and do the same thing again, only this time, you shut your mouth, listen to people that know what they're talking about & Never, I mean NEVER EVER MAKE A VIDEO AGAIN!
  2. take 2 USB Sticks (USB 3.0 speed) plug them both on each USB ports on your PC, copy and paste. That took 15 seconds.
  3. Sweet!
  4. thqks so much you are a life saver if it wasn't for you i would've goten in trouble
  5. Open explorer
    This Pc
Right click, hold on the device you want to copy from (usb 1)
Hover over device you want to copy to (usb 2)
Let go and select copy here
  6. Wow !!!!!!! That is sooooo much easier than opening the drive you wanna copy and then clicking on edit then select all and dragging it to the drive you want to copy or move it all to. Especially since these days everyone is sooo comfortable using DOS.
  7. drag n drop quicker
  8. Great stuff . I need to keep reminded about DOS commands. In the old days everything you wanted to do was done at the command promp or the DOS shell.
    Thanks again !
  9. Hi Brian, have you done a video on Windows 10 pro Store not opening, having a battle trying to get it to open
  10. another awesome helpful video Brian
  11. Package this into a dos command, add it to the task schedule and you've got an automated backup of your stuff. I find robocopy a better tool as that can delete from destination aswell.
  12. Did dos in 92 most would not know whats going on here....lol. The dark place...
  13. Thank god for GUIs
  14. Thanks Brian, another great video from across the Pond.
  15. Why on earth would you want to use xcopy for a simple thing like this?
Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, go to second usb, Ctrl+V, done.
By the time you opened CMD as an administrator, the copy operation would already be running... Maybe you could make a batch file out of it if you have to do it regularly but you didn't show any of that so.. (and even then, it's like 6 clicks/keys..)
  16. opens drive CTRL + A CTRL + C goes to target drive CTRL + V soo much easyer m8
  17. I personally use Total Commander for all file operations.
If I want to clone HDD I boot to my Linux partition and use DD command.
  18. I dont mean to be a stickler.
  19. Whats the difference between xcopy and robocopy?
  20. Great tutorial 👍 thanks
