  19. So I have a Galaxy Nexus 7 (2013) which I set a pin lock to last night. I have tried that password multiple times and it doesn't open it.
    My gmail is already registered in there and in my apps in the tablet. So I have been waiting for it to show me the "forgot password" option but it has not.
    I have entered passwords more than 79 times since last night hoping that it will show me that option so I can use my gmail and unlock it but it has not shown me.
    I have internet connection in it with more than 10gig of data so that is not my problem.

    How can i unlock this without losing my data?
    I have tonnes of pictures in it with more than 6 game progresses saved in it.
    And office files too.

    I have noticed (based on internet research since last night) that only pattern lock gives the forgot password option after multiple trials.

    What else can I do? I don't mind opening the device if there is a way to do it from the inside.
    I need those files badly.

  20. Does that mean if I used Pin code and not gesture or pattern that I will have to write "pin.key" and not pattern.key?
