In this video I'll be showing you guys on how to update your BIOS for your Acer computer/laptop. **PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER IN THE PROCESS OF UPDATING YOUR BIOS. The steps that I have done worked for me and should yield similar results but DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.** According to many of the comments in the video, people seem to be having issues, so here's how my computer/laptop was setup. -Computer was virus free -Computer had all admin permissions enabled (That's a Windows default) Use a search engine to look up the official Acer site for your country. EX. I'm trying to update Aspire ES1-511 bios. windows 8.1. it's not like your video. the notebook first reboot and while the bios booting it decompress the files. i had waited during 5 minutes and then restarted, luckily for me before flashing the bios it automaticaly makes a backup. i wonder how much time must i wait. The reason of the bios update is because a fail that makes notebooks stays on blackscreen, (anybody from the acer company did note this?) the solution for the blackscreen is remove battery. well i tried again to flash bios and when the notebook reseted it appears a screen that shows the progress of the update that hasn`t shown before. seems it`s done
  14. hi, but if i will flash a the latest BIOS for my laptop (i have an Acer Aspire 5750G) also if i have the first BIOS for this laptop, something will blow up? xD
