I don't understand. You back everything up on to your HDD via time machine. Then you REMOVED the HDD.... So how is it finding the backup information??

You totally saved me.! I installed the memory last week and everything went seamlessly I receive my SSD today from crucial and did the install myself again. Thank you so much I completely forgot I had to erase the SSD!!!

Thank you very much for the video! This was probably the most in depth step-by-step vid that I've seen and it was really helpful. Of course, now that we're on OS Sierra things look/work a bit different, but it was still really easy to follow, and everything works perfectly.

I have a 750GB hard drive split into two partitions, one with Mac OS and the other partition with Windows 10. What I want to do is buy a 1TB SSD and replace the 750GB hard drive (with both Mac OD and Win10) and migrate both OS's to SSD.
Any help would be appreciated. -
