  5. I have a 1tb internal hdd and i have a 500gb external does that matter would it still be ok. Also when i do setup my external hdd to this time machine backup can i still use that hdd to save future photos i take.... Like create new folders to the external hdd?
  6. Bought a new 4T Time Capsule to replace my 2T Time Capsule because the old one was full. Now would like to delete some files from the old one so I can free it up to use as an extra router and back up for another machine.

  8. But my hard disk is 1 tb and the mac I can afford at the moment has only got 128 gb storage. This won't work with it, then, right?

    I've backed up my entire system on a hard drive with Time Machine. I bought the Hard Drive primarily to free up space, so is it now safe to delete files from my Mac, or will the file then disappear from the hard drive when I next sync to it (like when you delete a song from iTunes and it deletes from the iPod when sync'd)?
    Kind of worried about losing the data from both my Mac and the Hard Drive.
