  4. just to let you know that Kies3 worked on backup/recovery of cotacts etc (but not APPS) , even though my old phone's screen was damaged and not working. however, it took a week of calling /chatting with Samsung, BestBuy, Geek Squad, none of which solved this dilemma. go figure. it was actually Virgin Mobile toll free help that suggested Kies, which is a Samsung free program. This video clarified everything, and mentioned the contacts , which i hadnt been able to drag/drop using usb cable. thanks.

  7. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be insulting but, your instructructions lack greatly. Your mouse is all over the place and so are your explanations. You should remember that just because YOU know something it doesn't mean it is simple, for those who are trying to understand, to follow your scattered instructions. Trying to follow your mouse on a screen that is not all that clear and your speech which is too quick and not very concise, makes for more confusion than one needs when one is already not all that clear to start with. It's quite frustrating.

    Again, not my intention to insult, it was nice of you to try and share your knowledge. Believe me...you are not the only one who does this on YouTube...there are many!

    Just a little advice for next time. Have your thoughts in order and SLOOOWW down and keep the mouse at a pace that some newbies can follow. Thanks again and please, keep up your good intentions.

I downloaded and set up Kies and moved pictures and videos from my Samsung Galaxy 4 Note to my laptop which uses Windows 7 Ultimate.  None of the videos will play.  I see the video in the folder, but when I click to watch it the media player pops up as a black screen and says the video won't play because file type or codec might not be supported.  Can anyone help with this problem?
  10. Samsung Kies is HORRIBLE. Almost everytime i try to use KIES my blood pressure shoot off the roof. What is wrong is coming out with a USER FRIENDLY and working software???

  14. I came here to know how to update my S2.. The "No Firmware" stuff.
  15. This is my first Samsung product and will be the last. I am an ASUS consumer. Attach the USB and the System recognizes it and files can then be transferred. The last thing I need in my computer life is more software over burdening my virus software
    I am truly regretting I purchased this Samsung Galaxy Tablet 4 tablet!!!!

    Smart Switch PC app did not load. The installation reads: "Error: -1619 This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exist and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that is a valid Windows Installer package.

  18. My note 8.0 has a problem.. i can acces recovery mode but it is error.. it did not open.. someone told me to re-install the firmware. Can i do it in skies? I really need help..
  19. I have galaxy s3, when I plug in my phone nothing is poping out on the task bar, how can I open it my self ? Help please
