  6. there is a utility called "ZU" there is the "oficial" link to the utility where programmers put new versions http://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=166 I tested it with a WD BLUE 160gb 2,5" hard drive and it works flawessly
  7. Tried on an old Toshiba 40GB and a newer Samsung 250GB (2.5" SATA drives in IDE mode). Doesn't work. Both HDDs are still password-locked!

  9. I just want to say Thank You , this works for me, after countless hours trying to unlock a WD hard drive from a friend who forget the password this do the trick

  12. Yeah mine pops up with a HDD password to but it's Bios as well. Only thing you can do is send it back to the manufacturers and pay them 99.99 to fix the dang thing
  13. you didnt say what keys we have to use to get to the menue the hard drive lock causes the f2 menu to disappear how can i get back to it? you did it but you said nothing about how to
