This video will instruct you on how to restore your recycle bin's deleted files. It seems like you can't access it when you clear your recycle bin, but the files are still hanging around in your computer. This will help you both for finding and restoring your deleted files and/or clearing up your computer's space. This works with both XP and Vista. 20. When I delete a file or folder, it's not deleted immediately. It's actually just sent to the recycle bin where it's stored until I choose to recover it or delete it permanently. Deleting a file or folder from the recycle bin permanently removes it from my computer. If I delete a file or folder from the recycle bin, it cannot be recovered. Some things might be permanently deleted rather than sent to the recycle bin. If I delete something that I didn't mean to delete, I can go to the recycle bin to recover it. If I delete something, can I get it back? It depends on whether or not I emptied the recycle bin. If I didn't empty the recycle bin, yes. If I emptied the recycle bin, no.
