Downgrade Windows 8 to Windows 7 SUBSCRIBED AND LIKE PLEASE!!!! This is for Hewlett- Packard 2000-2d24dx that came pre-installed with Windows 8. Here are the steps. 2. Download Windows 7 Drivers For HP 2000-2d24dx. Pick which Windows you have 64-bit or 32-bit then below click on next. Pick the Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto installation Program (SID:1655712) http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false SM BUS Controller Download Intel chipset device software (INF Update Utility) https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=sm%20bus%20controller 3. Insert Windows 7 CD in the DVD rom 4. Point your Mouse to the bottom right corner then click on setting 5. Click on Change PC setting 6. Click on General 7. Then on the right side scroll down look for Advanced Startup click on Restart now 8. Click on Troubleshoot 9. Click on Advanced Options 10. Click on UEFI Firmware Settings 11. On Legacy Boot Order set your Internal CD/DVD Rom Drive to the top of this list by using f6 to move it to the top 19. f10 to save then click on Yes 20. Then It will reboot 21. Keep Pushing Esc button 22. F9 to enter Boot Device Options 23. Go to Internal Cd/DVD Rom Drive and Click Enter Install Windows 7 24. Click on Next 25. Install Now 26. Check mark on I accept the license terms 27. Click on Next 28. Custom Advanced 29. Delete all of the Partition Click on Disk 0 Partition 1: WINRE then click on Driver Options (advanced) Then you should see Delete. Click on Delete. Then one by one delete all the Partition from 1 to 5 30. Then once you see Disk 0 Unallocated Space 698.6 GB click on New 31. Then you should see it say Size 715404 MB click on Apply 32. Click on OK 33. Then high light on Disk 0 Partition 2 698.5GB Primary you want to Format that. So click on Format 34 Click on OK 35. Click on Next 36. Then it should install Windows 7. It Will reboot couple of time and it will ask to hit any keyboard to boot from CD or DVD

  6. dude youre a life saver omg !!!!!!!!!!!! i took out my harddrive out of my laptop because i couldnt find a way to get to the boot menu once i did that my computer wouldnt recognize the bootable usb i made i was scared af after i followed your steps then my laptop recognized the usb thank you soooo much
  7. I had a laptop like this but I changed the hard drive to a 2015 no cd drive hp

  17. excuse me sir i got problem. It says "windows cannot be install on disk 0 partition1 because the selected drive is of GPT partition style" how to solve this please help me. now i cannot open my os how to solve this problem
