Improving GPS accuracy of android phone by changing the driver file in android... On Motorola Atrix 2 Jelly Bean (4.1.2) (leak 3) 'Motorola Atrix 2' officially updated to ICS 4.0.4 & Motorola will not give official JB (Jelly Bean) update for this phone. But Chinese released the leaked version of 4.1.2 JB of atrix 2... You can say it, unofficially released official ROM with some defects & problems... Now leaks 3rd version is also out... In leak 1st some have dial-er issue, contact sync issue, FC issue, notification issue... Which I didn't get... (FM app is also not installed in leaked Rom but you can install it easily. I shown it in last video) But one main & common issue is GPS issue... GPS couldn't work properly, takes too much time, some times doesn't show location or sometime show wrong... GPS (Global Positioning System)is now days very useful & important thing in any mobile(smartphone) In leak 3 Many issues are solved some notification issue are remains... GPS improved but not work up to the mark... So if you want to make your gps work proper then you have to root your phone & change the gps driver in it... So you can easily improve the GPS in phone... To Improve GPS : 1. Download the appropriate GPS drive. (For atrix 2 user drivers link given below) 2. Download any file manager which have root previlage Root explorer or Solid explorer or Es explorer 3. Copy the gps file to your sd card. 4. then copy gps_driver to '\system\bin' , you must overwrite the old file. (you can take backup of old file before) 5. Set permission : rwxr-xr-x 1st methode : 6. Download GPS configurations as per your location (country) 7. copy 'gps.conf' to '\system\etc' override the original file (I will suggest you to take backup) 8. Or just leave 'gps.conf' file as it is... (If you get any problem even after changing the 'gps_driver' then change 'gps.conf' as per your area, otherwise leave it as it is) 9. Set permission of 'gps.conf' - rw-r--r-- 10. Reboot your phone & use GPS... 2nd methode : 6. Directly go to recovery. 7. select the downloaded zip to flash. 8. Just flash the zip file. 9. Reboot your phone & use GPS 2nd method you can do after installing recovery, so if you want to install BMM first, then watch BMM installation video & then flash zip...
