  4. Hi there! i have seen your videos and I think they're very helpful. I have an Ibook G4 which has 512 ram and 30 Gb of hard disk. Its operating system is Mac OS X 10.3.9 and i want to have it installed Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5. I wonder if you could help me finding out what web sites would you recommend to download those operating systems? Thank you

  7. I was surprised that it did not speed up the iBooks, when I upgraded the RAM.... I had 30 at one time.. I build and upgraded computers all the time... all of them boot up in about 45 seconds.. start apps quickly and worked pretty good for 256 MB of RAM, so I thought .."512 will make it faster!" Yet in all of my test the speed up was only so so...But they are nice little computers that run Microsoft word, excel and some games...
  8. These macs can view youtube videos in 360p, but they show it jerky, because of the g3 CPU. 240p allows them to work smoothly. All of my videos that I upload are 720p HD, like this video, you can change your viewing res. from 240p to 720p by clicking on the "gear" icon at the bottom of the video.

  11. If you want Leopard, 10.5 than you need a system with a G4 or better CPU. Leopard system requirements, Processor: any Intel processor, or PowerPC G5 or G4 (867 MHz and faster) processor Optical drive: internal or external DVD drive (for installation of the operating system) Memory: minimum 512 MB of RAM (additional RAM (1 GB) is recommended for development purpose The iBook filmed had a G3 processor, so I can only run 10.4 on it.
