  16. I've tried this several times but it keeps asking for Apple Id and password?? Please help on how to perform installation without need to enter Apple ID
  17. Got a few questions...

Does this work on older macs as well? I've got a mid-2012 MacbookPro, I thought you needed a flash drive to download osx from. I am replacing my falling apart HDD with a new SSD.

Do you need a product key the way you do for windows or does apple just recognize the hardware?

lastly, i am planning on doing this at a university I am studying at and they have a fancy wifi authentication system, will I still be able to login to wifi while in the recovery mode?
  18. If u delete the drive wont u lose ur data on ur mac
  19. everything was working well, but when I got to erasing the new hard drive, I waited 10 hours to erase, and it still did not erase it. it just keeps loading, what could be the possible problem here?
