Iomega HDD model GDHDU2 External hard drive not detected by PC or Laptop, Problem turn out to be the hard drive loose fits inside its plastic case, tape adhesive was torn, drive moved and disconnect itself from circuit board. Pry and split open the case, re-connect drive to circuit board by pushing drive toward circuit board. Hook it up to computer and make sure it's working. repair torn tape, fix the loose gap that cause the drive to slide out of it's connection. Close plastic case.
