This is the second in a series covering live cd's. You may also have heard them referred to as rescue disks or bootable disks. Live cd's are very useful to technicians who are working on a computer that will not boot into Windows, or when they are working on a computer that is so badly infected with viruses that a typical antivirus can't remove them effectively.   5. This is great thank you...presumably Kaspersky Resuce will also allow me to transfer files from one removable disk to another? I'm having issues with my external hard drive and need to back it up before I replace it...said hard drive crashes windows explorer and causes problems with other software when saving files.
