It truly is sleek and stylish. Does it stand the test of of my usage? As many gadget as I have around, it need to be comfortable and convenient. So how did it stack up? As far as design, it weighs 3.75lbs, and is 13.1 x 8.8 x .7 inches in dimension. I've been using a Kaboobag purse, which has a dedicated techie pouch for tablets, too small for the U310, but I was still able to fit the laptop in the main compartment of the purse. This makes a big difference for me, since I need to be able to grab it and GO! It comes in Cherry Blossom, Graphite Grey, Aqua Blue, with a brushed metal look to it. Loop design on the sides makes it a breeze to open. What I noticed on a day basis was the response time and sound. It boots very quickly, and response time is very fast from one application to another. The Dolby sound, 2.0 stereo speakers and Dolby Home Theatre V4. My favorite radio local radio talk show has horrible reception, so I use the laptop every morning to listen in as I get ready for work. So the Dolby sound made a great impression on me! The touchpad is larger than most, and is made of glass. You can use various finger-swiping gestures for navigation. This comes in handy for the notepad program, and so does pinch-to-zoom gestures. The funny thing is that I stumbled upon the pinch zoom by accident on a regular Web Page. Oops! The AccuType keyboard apparently has increased accuracy, and I did find it easy to type with. There are quite a few security features to take advantage of: · One Key Recovery button, which at the side for quick restore · Anti-theft technology: VeriFace 4.0, which assists with passwords and security. · Bootshield maintenance The 720p webcam, Lenovo YouCam, obviously you can use for video chat, but also to capture and edit pictures and video. The version I am using has: Core i5-3317U Processor, 4GB of memory, 500GB HDDD @5400RPM, Intel HD 4000, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS, and no Bluetooth, but some of these specs are customizable. All in all I would highly recommend the U310.
