I just purchased used this from a woman and it was completely dead I had to charge up to 100% but it turns off I tried to reset pressing power up nothing g happen with power down nothing g it keeps turning off when it turn it on so I'm downloading the new os update is that a good idea? install new Android might fix it?

  8. I've tried a downgrade from Lollipop to Kit Kat but my V490 entered in a loop and doesn't power off, what can you suggest?

  10. so hey man, need a slight hand if possible... have a us cellular, lg gpad 8.0, with the lg-uk495, I successfully rooted, then tried to put twrp on it, and it bricked... my computer won't recognize it as a USB to flash it. I've got the kdz file, the tools, the drivers, and so on, but no success. any ideas?

  14. I know this video is 2 years old however I initially rooted my LG G Pad 8.3 with your video and dl's on your website. I believe I flashed the wrong rom to the tablet about 6 months ago and now its caught up in a bootloop. I successfully flashed numerous Roms to the device but now I am unable to do anything with it. Is it possible to restore the tablet if I can't get it into the Download Mode ?

  17. I did the recovery and got to 99% and the G pad turned off and then the downloader on teh computer crashed
    NOW the G pad is a brick and only sign of life is when plugged in to USB the computer 15 seconds later has a pop up saying unrecognized USB device

I've used this method a few times before and it worked fine but now when it gets to about 90+ percent progress uploading the sw where the LG logo and boot screen comes up, my tablet goes into fastboot mode. I can get into download mode. I can get into hard reset mode but it always comes up in fastboot mode. I have the factory image files (*.img) but it will not allow me to upload (via fastboot) any partition images. Says "write error". I've download tons of files and looked at dozens of websites but still can't get this thing to accept a firmware load. What's interesting, if the partitions can't be written to using fastboot, why does the sw load progress not fail almost immediately? I hate to toss in the towel for this device. It's a great tablet. The one odd thing, that might have something to do with my problem, is that when I type "fastboot devices", it comes back with a "?" and not the device name. The LG mobile tool sees that it's at the latest version (4.4.2 (20F)) and I have to use the recovery option. Any ideas?

  20. hey root junky ive been tring this method for over a month now and i cant get it to work for me i have the black lg g pad 8.3 ive tried to restore it at first i got it into download mode coreectly but now even that wont work HELP PLZZZZZZZ
