  1. And at 7:00 I realized I had this anti virus over 20 years ago on Win 3.1.. I remember this because this AntiVirus had back then an unique and extra cool feature : the Virus List! This allowed you to see all the virus it knew, but would also provide you with information on the selected virus. Back then this was my main inspiration for creating online alias when I had my first internet access
  2. This sounds like a Hollywood dream, something like lord of war or aviator.
  3. John McAfee is a fucking legend!
  4. botnet
  5. This guy seems like a real winner.

    I aspire to be him.
  6. I hate people like this guy.
  7. there needs to be a movie about this guy.
  8. His distrust of people, his recovery, and the fact he knows people in many of the dark corners of society is exactly why I supported him to be president. He's literally seen and done it all, so that is great experience to bring in especially dealing with the Putins and Jong-Uns of the world.
  9. i am not going to lie, this guy is kinda a hero of mine, and i would like too have him as president rather than this trump guy. i saw his video when he said running for president and i was like "cocaine, smoking hot girls, and guns, a understanding of cyber politics and how our nation is behind and knows how to fix it when it comes to cyber security? this man is more than qualified to be our leader. he has that can do attitude that a paranoid cocaine fuled man with an arsenal of firearms has, and the drive too get shit done and wile getting little to no sleep, and doing his job, unlike trump or Obama who just get in and play golf wile we suffer, if we had a terrorist attack under McAfee's administration, screw sending in the troops, he will halo jump out of air force 1 in his underwear and a parachute, with a knife in mouth, and land in the middle of the enimes base, then he will unleash a hell storm on all who threatens this great county, then comes home covered in blood and more cocaine just to give an address apologizing for his slight leave of absents, but he had a tiny matter of national security too attend to, then hell get back to work. he will get more done in a day than he most presidents ever did in a term"
  10. I use McAfee

I now know the backstory of the program. Yay...
  11. this is weird but I like the way you've arranged the letters "LGR" on the board in the intro, the way they're vertically offset is very visually pleasing, like halfway increments if that makes sense?? it makes me happy thank you
  12. After seeing the Intro, A McAfee Ad Of course comes on.
  13. McAfee is pre-installed with a unlimited subscription on my laptop. Lovely.
  14. heh ive always pronounced it wrong, like just two syllables.
  15. Just discovered your channel and your great videos, thank you! This story (McAfee) reminds me another sad tale in computer software history: PkZip (Phil Katz). Cheers.
  16. I have to admit that at one point I used MacAfee. I never found it to be terrible. but I have moved on from it.
  17. The only thing I know McAfee for is bundling a shit antivirus with assus computers.
  18. This is LGR tech tales, where I tell you things you could find on the internet and read in half the time without that bad jokes, and get payed for it!
  19. McAfee Anti Virus programs think DNS server is a 'spyware'
  20. McAffee wants to run for President? lmao he's not a natural born citizen! What a weird story he has!

hey LGR maybe you should do one on Gary Kidall?? Or maybe Peter Norton?

I always loved the Peter Norton Programmer's Guide to the IBM PC....one of the main sources that taught me how to do cool stuff with BASIC on the IBM PC 5150 in the late 80s as a kid (11 years old when I first started looking at that book) :)
