In this video I show you how to backup and restore your important files, folders, and programs in Linux Mint. I am using a program called Deja Dup for this video. It's important to run backups regularly, this way if a disaster does occur, you can easily recover without losing important data. If this video helped you, please like. 1. Thanks for the straightorward video on Linx Mint backups.  Deja Dup seems to work a whole lot better than the native Backup Tool LM comes with.  I couldn't get it to work at all really.
  2. for some reason it no longer allows you to put them in a location
  3. You demonstrated how to backup files and folders, but did not address backing up programs and the libraries/associations/data/etc. that they may depend on. Also, since usb flashdrives are getting so large, 32GB+, and linux installs so small 6Gb plus added programs/data, could you or anyone suggest best/easiest up the entire OS+programs+data? Since I already use cloud storage for most of my data, I'm looking at 10-15GB max as a way to avoid a fresh install if system breaks for some reason.
  4. Flash drive not showing up in LM14. It is mounted. Any ideas?
  5. Thanks, I thought you might like this one.
