  1. Hello Taha Mirza, this will be RAID 01(0+1), the performance will be the same, but the faul tolerance is less than RAID 10. You can google the difference between raid 10 vs raid 01
  2. Hello Bento, you had 4 hard disks, for 1&2 you did mirror then for 3&4 again you did mirror and after that for 1&2 + 3&4 you did stripe. My question is, if i make the opposite, 1&2 stripe 3&4 stripe then 1&2 + 3&4 mirror. will it result in the same thing? regards
  3. Hi, for the first answer, yes you can unplug the degraded hdd, the system will boot from the another one.For the second question, you should add the second new hard drive to the raid mirror, it will sync all the data information from disk one.
  4. Nice video. Question...if I have two hard drives set up as raid 1, and one of the drives goes out, can I unplug the bad drive and immediately start using the good drive (I'm assuming it should have identical content)? And how do you create a new raid 1 with a new hard drive, using the remaining good drive (I ask because I tried to set up a raid a few minutes ago and it said that all of the information would be erased from both drives in order to complete the set up)? Thanks!
