From reading Minix posts this sounds like its very close to an OTA release candidate. Minix has made a lot of nice improvements and increased compatibility with more apps.   3. Hi, I need some help please. I have a Minix Neo x8 plus and am running XBMC 13.3 , how do I update that?

    Also I cant view any trailer because I don't have the youtube add on.

    Tried getting Kodi 16.1 from playstore worked fine for a bit then no sound, so I uninstalled it.

    Please help?

  5. not sure if I got a defective piece, but my minix Neo x8 H plus is just super slow and buggy,
    I tried factory reset, but I can't even get pass the wifi pass screen without lags and freezes..
    I wish I could delete everything and run debian on it..
  6. This neo X8-H keeps having random freeze and restart no matter I did factory reset or after update... sigh~~~ no solution
  7. Does this apply for the x8-h plus box too? Need help bad, after installing recommended repos my box freezes after every few moves and then I have to wait between 5-10 minutes too able to move a few spaces again, if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

    I'm trying to choose between the z64 and the x8-h plus. One deciding factor was the spdif out. Does 5.1 Dolby and DTS work on x8-h plus. I've been reading in forums that it won't output those formats. Your input will help my decision.
