So heres a tutorial on how to start a fresh on your nexus device and install 4.3, it doesn't matter if your rooted , or coming from a custom rom, this will work. Of course you will lose everything , but seeing as its a nexus device, its really easy to get back . requires an unlocked bootloader Android SDK - http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/index.html?pkg=tools Link to factory image - https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images Check out my channel for the latest reviews and news on all the latest tech! 9. Hi your video is very good and informative let me add some points if someone's phone unable to appear in fastboot /bootloader mode than simply open device manger on laptop /PC where mobile phone is connected right click on mobile phone which will be most probably showing yellow sign on it click update driver , click browse my computer for driver software, click let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer and finally select bootloader or fastboot driver. so your phone will be communication while in fastboot mode you can check it by command fastboot devices Regards,
  10. Thanks, Perfect.

  16. The link above to the "Android SDK" is now pointing to "Install Android Studio" (which requires to install the JDK). I don't know what the original link implied as far as installation but I don't want to have to install a bunch of stuff just for a one time use. Any suggestion about how to get something going similar to what you show in the video without having to install the Studio?... or can you share the original "Android SDK" you are using in the video? TIA
