  1. I setup Bluetooth in the Mac settings. Then turned on Bluetooth on my Nokia Lumia then it had a box to tick pair Macbook with Lumia. Individual photos only transfer sadly.
  2. Windows bullshit even exists on the phones.
  3. I used the "NokiaPhotoTransferForMac" app to import both images and video to my Macbook Pro running Mavericks, worked just fine.

It took me sometime to find the app which was rather frustrating [you'd think apple would have pointed to it], additionally originally had all of the issues of my Mac seeing the phone but not the images, doubting if I had the right cable etc... But as stated above, it all worked fine in the end and the app is free.
  4. Windows Phone App does not work anymore if you use El Capitan. Well, you can hack the app to work with El Capitan, but you need to have downloaded it before. Nokia Photo Transfer is still the best solution to transfer photos and videos using the USB cable. But for other kind of files, for me the best solution is to use FTP Server in my Lumia and Cyberduck in my Mac. With FTP Server installed in my phone I can browse folders, upload and download music, documents, pictures and videos dragging and dropping from the Finder to Cyberduck (in both ways). Download FTP Server on your Lumia and choose which folders do you want to share. It can be the whole SD card, for example. FTP server shows you what IP address you have to use in Cyberduck to connect to your phone. You don’t use internet, the connection is only between phone and Mac using your router and local WIFI. Here is a tutorial to use both apps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQNqDbVv76c

  6. Is it possible you can send me the Windows Phone App to my e-mail? I search in the App Store and it is not available for my country (México) when I change to USA or other country in Settings is not available neither. Thank you in advance.

  8. Help Please, I have Lumia 640 and it dosen't show up in the Windows Phone App. In the USB Setting it says "Connected to PC, data turned on." but i don't see it in the app.
  9. ohhh thx nice it works
  10. Yeah, sucks to be stuck with a Mac. Best advice for functionality with good phones- install Bootcamp and Windows.
  11. By the way, you do not have to pay to upgrade..... And, maybe just then buy a phone with sd card compatability??????
  12. Use iPhoto for the part where nothing pops up.
  13. Do you still use the lumia 920? or your've traded up for an iphone 5s . I might have to manage my lumia 920 with bad battery life till the iPhone 6 comes out.
  14. i had to download a new operating system onto my mac, download the latest one, its free, called mavericks
  15. So ive downloaded this app, but when i connect my windows phone to my macbook nothing happens except the phone starts charging. shouldnt some sort of window open up? so lost.
  16. Dom, according to Petapixel there's a new app for transferring photos from a Nokia to your Mac. Search for 'Nokia Photo Transfer for Mac support' and it should be the first in the results.
  17. this is why i like a smartphone with a removable memory card
  18. Microsoft would have chosen the minimum OS requirement for their software to work on.
  19. It's not windows fault he has outdated OS blame Apple for making their OS mandatory to be current to install apps.
  20. F&?k Microsoft! (Especially Windows Vista!)
