We have made a video showing how we went about resetting a TMAX Digital Inc. NuVision 7.85" Tablet (TM785M3). Please note that we are not responsible for any damage that may occur to your device if you use this video for guidance. If you attempt this, you assume all responsibility of any damage that can occur to the tablet. WARNING! This will erase all of your data! This cannot be undone. We are not responsible for lost information. Proceed at your own risk. In our case, the tablet was not booting up all the way. It would get stuck on the NuVision logo and restart on its own. Performing this factory reset (AKA hard reset, restore, hard reboot) solved the problem. 1. Make sure the tablet is powered off before continuing. If you cannot do this because it keeps restarting, the process will still work but you probably will need to try several times. 2. Press and hold down the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time until the NuVision logo appears then release. 3. You should see the DroidBoot screen. If not, try again until you do. 4. You will be using the Volume Up and Down buttons to navigate the DroidBoot and Recovery menus. To select, you will use the Power Button. Volume Up actually scrolls down, while Volume Down scrolls up. If the screen turns off on you due to inactivity, just press the Power Button once. 5. Select "Recovery" and press the Power Button. The tablet will reboot into the recovery menu. 6. Select "Wipe Data / Factory Reset" and press the Power Button. 7. Select "Yes" and press the Power Button. 8. The tablet will now be erased completely and will return to the default factory settings. This may take some time. Be patient... 9. Once you see "Data Wipe Complete" on the bottom of the screen, go ahead and select "Reboot System Now" by pressing the Power Button. 10. The tablet will now restart. Since the system was just reset, this process can take a few minutes. This is normal. This part of the video is sped up to save time. 11. That's it!   1. I tried to do a hard reset.  After NuVision logo came on it wanted my password.  Must have made a typo because my password will not work so now I cannot use the tablet at all.
  2. nuvision tablets should not have to be this complicated especially since they're not top of the line tablets I can't even get it to change the damn time correctly....
  3. My novision PC turned of by itself then when I tried to turn it back on it said that it didn't turn on properly and idk what to do ..help?
  4. I can't like open any apps it's says it's not working and it lets me report and issue.

  13. I have the Windows version and it powered down during the first start-up. Now it endlessly stays on a purple screen with wait a minute message. Doesn't seem to reset like your android model. Any ideas?
