You will need a rooted phone with USB debugging enabled. MTK Droid Tools is the tool we use to backup our NVRAM. This will work with most all MTK phones. MT6592, MT6582, MT6589, MT6589T, MT6572. For downloading ADB Drivers and MTK Droid Tools http://www.chinaphonearena.com/forum/Forum-MTK-General-Tools For tutorial on how to install ADB drivers http://www.gizbeat.com/1273/pdanet-adb-auto-driver-for-windows/ To enable USB debugging From Home Screen - Menu button - Settings - Developer options - Enable USB debugging If you don't see Developer options, go into 'About Phone' first and tap 'Build Number' several times. That will enable Developer options in Android settings.

  2. i dont have imei/nvram backup and while wrtting new imei its showing Pettycmd1 not found in device my device is connect succefuly and showign green but i lost pettycmd1 ho to create that?
  3. Does anyone here have a NVRAM (Without IMEI) backup to share? I need this because I flashed my ROM and now my GPS is not working anymore. Already tried EPO and AGPS, also other stuff like using Faster GPS app to create a gps.config. Read here in a forum that the NVRAM must be the same after flash, other wise there may be bugs like GPS not working. My GPS is not working at all. MTK6572. Please somebody help me, it's been one week since I started working on this issue.

  15. I've installed this on Windows 8.1 and noticed that the MTK Droid tools will unresponsive for 20-30seconds after 1 second. I need to quickly click on the button, otherwise, I will need to wait for it to become responsive again but it seems the entire process takes forever. Does anyone has the same issue?
