  1. Shortly after the black screen with the whole bunch of commands, I got a screen that looked like noise, with a black stripe on top. I have not found answer as to why. It's not working, it gets stuck there. Could this be a virus or a corrupted file? Any help would be appreciated.

  3. Works perfect! But you have to change the boot device into your BIOS controle center (DEL button), go to 1st boot device, change from SATA (your harddisk) into CDROM. After you found your password, reboot and go again to your BIOS and rechange 1st boot divice into your SATA. Save and reboot and windows restarts. When password is experied, rename new password or use the same password as 'new' password.
    Happens me 2 times, on my spare (Windows Vista Ultimate: AMD Athlon X2, 2x 1 Gb SATA, 4 Gb Ram, GeForce 9600 GSO)computer I used for my DJ mixing, when I have issues on my main mixing PC.

  13. I don't think this tutorial is using the same (modified) version of Ophcrack that is freely available from SourceForge. The unmodified version of SlitTaz here evidently works. The one from SourceForge does not work. Correct me if I am mistaken. Has anybody been able to get the open source version of Ophcrack to work?
