4. Minitool is very good. Dmde is probably the best but they like their
   complex GUI. Recuva is ok. Sometimes external drives show as "blank"
   (wrongly) because the computers USB driver or its chipset driver isn't
   installed.

8. The DDR recovery free software (trial version) is a joke. It just 'shows you' (1) what it is recovering and you can't save it. You must buy the full version to try what is explained in this clip.
