  1. Hi, I have an HP Touchsmart 300 that once belonged to my Uncle, but he is now deceased & has left the PC to me. I can't remember his password, and have no idea where he has stored the original restore CD's. May I gain access by resetting the password with no tools?

  14. Hi, I need your help. I bought a HP 250 g4 notebook.ill like to format the hard drive, install the latest version of Ubuntu ,and after 6 month(this is what it would take me to complete a job on Linux),I'll like to restore my notebook exactly to the first state .that means with windows 7.1 upgradable to windows 10(I believe this last option is no more supported...). I have two HP disks that came with the notebook. i saw that the videos talk about restoring ,using an already installed windows, but my question is,after formatting and installing ubuntu, will F11 and windows+b+power on methods work? Can i boot from this discs and reinstall all as new? Thanks.
  15. I don't have recovery discs
  16. If you didn't create a set of System Recovery Discs before your system crashed and pressing the F11 key repeatedly on startup doesn't initiate the System Restore process you need to purchase the System Recovery Discs from HP. They are NOT available for download anywhere.

    1) Making a set of recovery discs requires 4 DVD discs or a 32GB (max) flash drive.
    2) The recovery process is extremely slow. You need to be very patient, on several occasions it will feel like the system has frozen.
  17. where can i download this software???? i can not find it on my computer, help please
