I didn't realize this while shooting the video but it makes sense. 2) If you notice Skype Group Chats stop working open up the HOSTS file and remove all of the entries containing MSN. I've had one report of this fixing the problem. ▼ Questions & Answers ▼ Q) I like Cortana so I don't want to disable that feature. A) That is fine, but just realized that Microsoft intentionally made Cortana dependent on the cloud meaning you have to give up your information, searches, contacts, calendar entries, etc to use her. You can't pick and chose what gets sent to Microsoft and still use the feature. It's all or nothing and I think this sends a bad message from Microsoft on what they are actually doing with that data. #TinfoilHat Q) Why do you hate Microsoft so much? A) I don't hate Microsoft, I worked there for 15 years as a Senior Software Developer. Windows is still my preferred platform that I use daily. What I don't like is the direction Microsoft is taking with regards to advertisement and marketing being the focus over the core operating system and innovation. Q) You should just run Linux! A) I like Linux but it's not in any position to be a replacement for an operating system like Windows. There is no Adobe support on Linux and it's not ideal for mainstream content creators and software developers. But who knows what the future holds if Microsoft keeps going down this dark street. Q) What is telemetry? A) It's Microsoft collecting data on your computer, what you search for, usage patterns, application usage, etc so they can analyze the data or use it for marketing. ** Full Disclosure: I worked at Microsoft for 15 years as a Software Developer and was laid off well over a year ago when Microsoft decided to get rid of the entire Windows test organization that I worked in.   3. lol @ tinfoilhat .... btw I don't know if the link is fixed or not but, I recall clicking on the link for 'learn more' under defer upgrades in the windows updates section , and it was a business oriented option installed so businesses that wanted tested and debugged updates only could choose that

This shit has been going everywhere now, Facebook and Google+ wants you to "fill up your profile" and whe you don't if you ever type for example the city/Country you live in boom, they don't ask for it anymore, they keep asking other info. On G+ I had to go on a hidden and long road to cancel all information collecting options, which I tried to do as fast as possible, it's like a fucking game, and it took me like 10 minutes, in the end they give you a textbox for suggestion, so I told them that I will use their products as long as they stay the fuck away from my personal info, and this is not only to sell it for advertisement, this is to sell it to the USA Gov. or it's ordered by the USA Gov. to have a loophole to spy on people, because the nature of the question is what Gov. people would like to know to "locate you" when ever they feel like it.

  15. Anyone else getting the same results as me? I turn on spybot, under protection I immunize all, then go to optional and immunize everything manually, if I close the spybot program and reopen it without rebooting the pc or anything it seems that one drive services is unblocked, office 15 telemetry scheduled tasks is unblocked along with office 16 telemetry scheduled tasks, is there a way to properly bock these permanently or something?

  19. I went to download spybot from your link and norton reported viruses in it's scan. Anyone else have this problem?
