Hard drive becomes raw when its file system gets damaged, making it inaccessible to OS. When you check its properties, it displays disk space of 0 bytes. Reasons for this can be multiple, like damaged master boot record, corruption of partition table, Windows OS malfunction, etc. It is quite obvious that you cannot access the data present on such a drive. However, if you follow the steps I am going to show here, you will surely get back the lost data. Before starting the recovery process, don't try to format the drive. If you do this, some of the data may get overwritten, that's why it is not at all advisable. Use the software I have mentioned in the video & get back your data from RAW hard drive partition. Its easy-to-use interface will allow you to recover files within few clicks. After the recovery, you can format the partition to make it accessible.

  2. So far this solution is the one that has allowed me to proceed the furthest. I tried other data recovery programs and they all freeze the moment I plug in the bad external drive. Here I was able to actually select the drive and continue, but it has been stuck on "searching lost partitions" for about half an hour. My hard drive has roughly 3TB of data, so I'm thinking maybe the delay is due to its large size. Is this the case? Is it normal for the 'searching lost partitions' scan to take so long? I'm at the end of my rope with this hard drive; I am pleading to Zeus and all of the gods on Mount Olympus to 'please' make this work. How long does the scan usually last? Is there any hope that maybe it will still find the partition? Any comment or guidance would be extremely appreciated. Thank you very much for this video and for your expertise. :-)
  3. hope this works, i just got my Uni work on my thumb drive and was going to back everything up on it as i got home... next min drive is busted... hope this has nothing to do when i plugged it in that stupid mac at school.

Please I have a problem and would like you to help me.A friend was recently formatting my PC but he formatted my partition drive where my information and other important files was instead of him formatting the drive C drive..I have used a whole lots of recovery software's including yours but the files cant be retrieved..The C drive now has windows 7 running while the partition file has windows 8 running.Please help me recover the files from the partition because they are very important to me.Thanks
  6. hello brother i have a problem. i don't no whether i would be able to fix this issu. 2 years a ago my 500 gb hard disk got corrupted so i loosed a lot of important data. but 2 years ago i didn't no that there is recoverable software's that could recover my data back. so what i did was i repationed my entire hard disk and installed windows 7 back. so i just want to no whether i have a chance of recovering the previous data ? which is almost 2 years old ???   
  7. i guess my raw hard drive is to defect, its loaidng hours now and not even 1 pixel of the green bar is there...
