  8. Same issue, same NAS. Never me and ReadyNAS again, real crap.

  10. Didn't work

  11. You have saved my life!! I recommended a Seagate Black Armour 2Tb to my Dad and after a year the raid controller failed. He had stored years of photos, files ect on the disk and Seagate basically said "Sorry the files are gone... but we may be able to recover them via our chargeable recovery service (£650)!". I am no pc expert, but with your video I've managed to recover every file... THANK YOU!
  12. Thanks for the share!

Tried using this, but the software was not much of a help, this includes Disk Internals RAID Recovery, Linux Recovery & Linux Reader.

So, used UFS explorer instead! http://www.ufsexplorer.com/
  13. Most likely could mount in PC and boot a linux live CD and open the drive right up to read.
  14. Great. Thanks. Worked a treat. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Followed every single step listed on here, but for some reason, when I got to my multimedia folder, where my files were, it was an empty folder. I had over 2.4TB of media in there. Any advice?? It seemed like it would work, but my folders are empty. Please help.
  16. Had the exactly same NAS (Duo), the same problem (drive 1 has gone, drive 2 was mirrored) and... DIDN'T WORK! Of course!
  17. Just AWESOME! Thanks for your post. @Seagate was no help. You da Man.
  18. Thanks for this great video ... saved my bacon too, thanks
