  5. Windows 8.1, I need to recover some files I moved from desktop to memory card, I didn't delete them, only moved them. (I lost the memory card), I used this but when I choose the C drive (for desktop) there isn't an option for undelete and the layout is different as its a different place. Any help or maybe a video? Thanks

  7. I was trying to install Ubuntu on the c drive so I created a new partition with ext4, but somehow it got merged with my huge data partition drive D and now I can't even recover it using Test disk, I haven't even formated or created any new partitions after this blunder.

  11. Tnx dude, this actualy works just fine! I instal ubuntu over win 7 and all was gone! Tnx man, now i have all old files from windows, from partition D! :)

  15. +DionLaurent1 Looks like the file system is damaged but the actual files aren't. I can't help you with the info you have provided. But you could post your problem at various forums. I recommend +LinusTechTips forum at https://www.linustechtips.com. Many people will be happy to help you out there.

  18. NOTE: WE DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LOSS OF DATA BY THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE. Hmm I see. Well it works for FAT32. I don't think that data can be recovered anymore. But you could try "Quick Formatting" to FAT32 and try recovering it using testdisk. Please note that its "Quick" formatting to FAT32 and NOT full formatting. Good Luck!
