ubuntu is a free linux based operating system available for download online. I prefer ubuntu studio. Boot computer up with Live CD. find the file system that is your windows. Navigate to users then user name. there your will see your downloads, document folders, ect. Now drag and copy to a USB and you have just recovered your files from your crashed computer.
