  6. Hi, is successful restore my partition. but in my Disk suppose have three partition  but just found two partition, i do the Deeper search as well, still cant found the partition tat the most important for me. any idea / solution for me?

    Today my partition table was lost and this method was work for me. Unfortunately I work on Windows 7 (jup unfortunately because before I have W8.1 and have no problems like this :)
    W7 repair DVD cant resolve my problem. But after Test Disk W7 repair was start and solved this problem.
    Now is backup time...

  11. For people with this Issue, it may not be the fact that the MBR is corrupt. I had the same problems described here but what was the problem was the Drive Controllers in the Advanced BIOS settings. They had all be switched to RAID instead of ATA/IDE make sure that your devices connected to the motherboard are ATA/IDE this fixed it for me.

  17. Hey, wondering if you could help me. im took my wd3tb mybook out to be used as in internal but it wouldnt read anymore. In disk management It says 'Unallocated'. Is that a faulty partition table? Currently running Testdisk 'Analyse' which would take hours, it wont erase my data right? Any help would be great. Thanks
