So you accidentally deleted your flip videos and want them back? Here's how I did it for free and you can too. You can download RECUVA from the publisher's webiste here: http://www.piriform.com/recuva or you can go to filehippo as mentioned in the video or your favorit download site :)

  1. Thank you. I clicked too quick without paying enough attention. Got all 36 files back with your guidance. Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
  2. Thank you soooo much!! I cried when I recovered the video of my daughter at her first kindergarten show!! Your a life saver! Thank you!
  3. Thanks for posting this - recovered a video that had mysteriously disappeared from my flip cam using the software. Phew!
  4. Please help me!
For me it say's "95 file(s) were actually found, but none of them matches to the filter" & "found 0 ; ignored 95"
I have a silver Flip Mino HD.. What am i doing wrong?
  5. File Hippo Recova doesn't work with a mac. Is there something else I can do?
  6. How can I do this from a Mac?
  7. Thank you for your video. When I open Recuva I see my file I want to recover but it is a MP$ extension not an .AVI. So it recovers the file to the folder on my desktop and when you open the properties it shows the size of the file is 3.98GB but when I go to try and open the file Windows Media Player launches and I get an error message saying that The Player might not support the file type or a required codec might not be installed on your computer. Any ideas for me??
  8. you are a life savor!
  9. yeah well I can see how getting hit in the face with a flip camera at 60 MPH might be a little worse than a bumble bee or dragon fly...lol yea send me a link I'd like to see what I helped rescue :)
  10. well technically it's a safety rule, because they don't want a bunch of idiots pulling out their iphones and dropping them either on other people or the track (ever seen final destination 3?). i might sound hypocritical, but it's securly strapped to my wrist, ait's not going going anywhere lol. i actually haven't gotten around to editing it yet. once i do, i'll send you a link if you really want.
  11. I dont know what that means but check and make sure the file extensions are right and they might play.
  12. check the file extensions and make sure they are MP4 or whatever you particular flip creates. if they arent you can try renaming them to what they are supposed to be. you can also try the 'deep scan' feature. it takes much longer but might help. thats all I have to suggest. hope you are able to get them back.
  13. Thank YOU sooooo sooooo much for watching :D
  14. partially recovered? you mean you only got a few back or they only have pieces of the original videos? check the file extensions and make sure they are MP$ or whatever you particular flip creates. if they arent right you can try renaming them. you can also try the 'deep scan' feature. it takes much longer but might help. thats all I have to suggest. hope you are able to get them back.
  15. "muahahahahahahahaha"....lol...hahaha thats funny. that park sounds like our US government now ...always trying to do something illegal to people. have you uploaded your 'black market' coaster video? I'd love to see it.
  16. thank you SO MUCH. you told me exactly what to do, and unlike most things, this actually worked for me. i had recorded a video on a roller coaster, but the park made me delete it. thanks to this program, i recovered it! muahahahahahahahaha. but seriously, thanks a lot.
  17. Windows media player wont let me view the partially recovered files.. How can I view my partially recovered files?
  18. Thank you soooo much for this video soooooo helpful!
  19. I recovered files from my flip following these instructions but then the files that were recovered could not be viewed. They were VLC video files. Help!
  20. I imported flip video onto my Mac and it said it was imported and prompted me to delete from the camera, but then it wasn't in iPhoto when I went to look. Does this recovery process work for Mac or should I plug it into a DVD? I am desperate, having lost important footage from my mom's birthday. Thank you!
