We've all been there - accidentally deleted something that we didn't mean to! Getting these error messages? : Unable to fetch valid a/v info Broken file header Missing file header Input file is not an AVI file Trying 'top search engine result' software that wont work? This is a 4 step method that worked for me, I hope it works for you too. Give it a go - you have nothing to lose! Feel free to share this around afterwards, it may just help someone else as well! 1. Nev I have a corrupted file from a security camera system and a couple good files from the same security system. The manufacturer ,Zosi, says they are recorded as AVI type files . . . anyway the corrupted error files are all in one folder and Recuva does not find any good or bad in that designated folder! So at that point(right now as i type this comment) I'm continuing on anyway but i don't think i will be successful . .if Recuva doesn't see these files(good and/or bad) how will the others ? Any input wold be appreciated . . thanks dave
