This is part two of a two part tutorial on recovering your photos from a corrupted SD card. It should be used as a last resort. In part 1, I show how to use CHKDSK. You should try that procedure first. If it does not fix your problem, then part 2 should be considered. www.althephoto.com

  7. Thank you so much for this video. I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime phone that I took a lot of videos and pictures from a train trip and thought I had lost them all. Recuva did restore a lot of the pics ans some of the videos. I still lost quite a bit but am grateful to have retrieved some of my vacation.

  13. thanks. Able to recover 80% of our vacation pictures. My SD card reader was unable to read a previously working SD. It asked that I reformat the SD card. I clicked on formatting my SD card and when I opened it, it said NO FILES....then I found this video instruction. Many thanks awboater and to RECUVA.
  14. @awboater Hi sir. I tried the CHKDSK but it says that chkdsk is not availble for raw drivers should I try this part 2 ? or you have any suggestion . thanks bro . please reply ASAP
  15. sadly, of around 8gb of data, i was able to recover 0%. I followed your steps exactly, however nothing was recovered

  17. Mr.awboater, I want to Thank-you for sharing your information. Up until finding your video I had to weed threw al the BS'ers out there. I hate to admit it but my husband was right you have to format the card....everywhere else said NO don't do it !!  I was fortunate enough to recover 2,000 pictures. I guess I have to credit  Recuva  too ! Thanks so much !!

  20. Sir.. how i cn recover photo from 1gb compact flash coz i lost file from last month and i used so many recovery software but it cn recovrr only limited photos like until 3 days ago ....
    And my card always used and formatted many times.....
    I hope u cn help me and give solution to my problem thnk u
