  3. I Deep fromated my USB FD, then tried to recover using deep scan. Result: NOTHING. cant find any files. I Quick fromated my USB FD, then tried to recover using deep scan. Result: FIles found and can be restored. Tried to delete (shift+delete) and recover: Find the file. Test platform: WIndows 7, USB FD 16GB formated using FAT32.

  5. I'm trying to recover a video I accidentally deleted and it won't pop up in recuva, just video files from last year, HELP! THE VIDEO WAS FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT!!!
  6. I reset my computer back to how it was when it cam from the factory. I thought I saved my pics & vids on my external hard drive but it seems it only saved the shortcut. Can recuva help me?
  7. no, most probably the files are in a state beyond recover
  8. And also, if on recuva it finds and "recovers" the files, but the files do not work, if another program that i have to pay for that also finds the files will the paid for program most likely properly recover the files?

  11. if you are running the latest versions, then that is what is available in it. Possibly the files in your deleted folders were already overwritten and are not recoverable. If you can not see your files in there, you won't see the folder either.
  12. i newly downloaded these versions 1.27.0.419 and 1.17.339!!! are these version can recover folders!!! coz i need the folders!! i cant find my files!! so im trying to recover the folders!!!
  13. so those files could be from the folder you are trying to recover. I think you need to actually look for the files instead of the folder name. I think it also gives you the information of the location of those files on hard disk.

  20. I managed to recover some pictures, but when I try to open the file, it says "Photo gallery cant open this picture or video. The file format is not supported, or you don't have the latest update to photo gallery". What's wrong?
