how to remove excel password
-
Thank you! It really works for sheets but if the whole file is locked and can't be opened without a password, it's going to be a trouble. I could not find a free way to unlock my file, as neither of the so-called "free" tools worked, so in the end I had to use a password removal service which was not free. I used one called Password-find, plus there were others - try the services as they are more effective than software.

Thank you !!!! It worked just as instructed

Hi there ! what about if the whole XLS is protected by pwd ? thanks !
-
This only works if the workbook is not protected. How about if the whole excel document is password protected? I have tried but the above does not work... Please advise :) thanks.

What a hero. Thanks for the video tutorial. Wasted a bit of time on crap software before I came across this. Worked perfectly.

Thanks Man!

Worked for me, great tip. thanks

I have to add an addendum: This worked for an MS Excel 2010 spreadsheet that was WORKSHEET PROTECTED only. I did not try this with any of the other forms of protection offered by Excel.

This worked a treat. I noticed you ran this demo with an xls file so I wondered if it would work with the newer xlsx format...it does. I assume this will work with other MS Office documents that OpenOffice can open too. Simple, easy and free. Genius!
