  1. THANKS :-)
  2. It happened to my 8 GB SD card. I reformatted it in Ubuntu 16.04 using FAT 32 and the problem was solved. It can already read and write to the disk. I guess the read only is caused by a computer virus that infects SD card. The virus is in your computers and infects other disks.. It has not infected Ubuntu 16.04 Linux.
  3. please help! I can't delete or move a file on my phone SD card I have done no settings please tell how to solve this issue.

  7. I want to write protect my Sandisk 16 GB memory card by moving the lock switch to the locked position but even after keeping the lock switch in locked position in locked position it's not write protected. I am using USB all-in-one card reader to access the card and I have tried with different card readers on different PCs but I get the same problem. I even tried the memory cards of various brands but I am not able to write protect. Why? Are the SD cards not meant to work with card readers properly?
