Mike, do you call yourself a Technician? Really? How come? Don't you feel ashamed of it?
How come CHKDSK.EXE is 30 years old and people STILL recommend this piece of shit to anything?
CHKDSK.EXE is garbage. Here's why:
1) It's DATA DESTRUCTIVE WITHOUT ANY WARNING.
It works as if you're nothing but a moron, incapable to decide what's best for you. So, you get NO CHANCE to see what's going to be erased, so you can stop and think of a better alternative, or consider anything regarding YOUR data;
2) It fills lots of files with ZERO WITHOUT LISTING IT.
So, you'll get no chance in hell that you would know which ones were erased, for you go and try to recover those while still available online. And up to this date NO ONE AT M$ had come with a solution to simply TELL YOU BEFOREHAND what's going to happen and/or to list ALL erased files in your disks;
3) This garbage of a program erases an ENTIRE FILE, even if only a tiny cluster of data is damaged.
Surely you could gladly skip a frame or two from a rare documentary and still enjoy its content - but no hope after using the infamous CHKDSK.EXE from M$. No way.
Comparatively: would you thrown away your whole house if just a tiny "window" is broken (pun intended)? Certainly not you or me, but M$ thinks that way, so...
Also, nobody cares to make a better program than this garbage, mainly because EVERY SO-CALLED "Technician" from M$ ranks recommends it blindly to all.
Conclusion: CHKDSK.EXE is NO SOLUTION TO A HARD DRIVE, period. How a so-called technician recommends it? Simple: he's a paid moron, incapable of clear Reasoning, who only follows blindly what they told him, in order to be awarded his precious diploma. A certificate IT troll/shill/pos, period.
Your idols at M$ should've come with something better long ago, but it's not available as of yet.
Of course not. Because they don't care.
They don't give a rats ass to MILLIONS of HDDs that THEIR SYSTEM ruined.

When i playing some game for example The Forest,Division,GTA V, i have problem , i getting 60fps no problem i enjoying the game and after 2mins fps drops to 15 for 30s and then go back to 60 and again , whats problem?;(

How do you specify to check an external drive? I have an external D: drive. I thought you were supposed to use /p to specify a drive, but it says that is an invalid parameter.

Well the disk check actually works ...you sort of failed to mention that this process could take several hours but anyway moving on everything is working fine I restarted but I cannot view the event log I have an event of you were error that says unavailable to verify the service is running I have no idea what that means but I know I cannot see the results of the desk check it seems likeI am going to have to research this error on my own since I have read several comments below and you have not replied to even One of them but thanks for the vid😀
