Today I am going to Show you How to reset/Recover Forgotten Windows XP/vista/7/8/8.1 and Windows 10 Password? If you reset your Windows 8.1 password easy way so you can use Hiren’s Boot CD to reset Windows 8 and 8.1 password. You can complete this using another PC. Please following the steps. 1. Download Hiren’s Boot CD http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ 2. Once downloaded Burn it onto blank Disc 3. after burn disc Insert Hiren’s Boot CD in CD or DVD Drive 4. When your computer powered on check the boot-screen for setup key Delete key, F8, and F2 key to enter bios panel. 5. Your Bios settings will be opened. Select boot tab to go boot menu settings. 6. Enter on the first boot CD/DVD drive & save settings apply and exit bios setup. 7. after restart you will see a message “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD….” Enter any Key on your key board if you want boot from CD or DVD. 8. When your system boot with Hiren’s Boot CD so please select Mini Windows XP and Press Enter. 9. Select the Mini Windows XP Option. It will not install XP in your system. It’s just running live. 10. Double click on the HBCD Menu Option. 11. Click on the Programs in the Hirens Boot CD program launcher menu then go to Password/Keys Windows Login then Select the NTPWEdit “Reset XP/Vista /7 User password” option. 12. It will open the NTPWEdit wizard options. 13. Now click on the Reopen option. It will show you the available users. Select your user which you want reset password and click on the Reset password option. 14. Click on change password button 15. Put new password & click ok 16. Now click on save button 17. Eject Hiren’s Boot CD from CD/DVD drive. 18. Reboot system. Now you are able to login in windows with your new password.   14. Reset Windows 10 user password without any software or CD

    1. Turn on your computer
    2. Right when you see the progress circle, do a hard shutdown (Hold down the power button till it shuts down ALL THE WAY)
    3. Restart your computer and a failure notice appears and goes to "Diagnosing your PC", then "Automatic Repair" screen comes up with two buttons - Restart or Advanced - click Advanced
    4. On the Troubleshoot screen click Advanced options
    5. Click Command Prompt
    6. Type net user > Enter (shows all usernames)
    7. Type net user <username> * (note the space between the username and the asterisk. ALSO - if username is two words, put quotation marks around the username)
    8. Type new PW (will not show) > Enter & retype (will not show) > Enter
    9. OR , leave it blank for no password and press Enter, Enter.
    10. You should get "The command completed successfully."
    11. Yer done.
    12. Exit out canceling any other options and shut down the computer (Not a restart)
    13. Reboot the computer and enter the new password you created or Enter if you left it blank.

  16. Just so you all know, if you have Windows 10 x86 or x64 installed and you attempt to use Hiren's Boot Disc v15.2, you will get the blue screen of death when trying to use Mini XP.

    I couldnt get past "incorrect password.Try again and ended up pressing F12 button and returning to factory settings.
