Reset Windows 8 or 8.1 Password Without Software or Reset Disk. We will use command prompt (cmd) to Reset Password For Free. For this Reset, you just need any Windows CD, Windows XP, Windows 7 Windows 8 (8.1) or even Windows Technical Preview cd will do. We have used Windows 8.1 CD to Reset Password, but we have shown in video (small clip) how you can use windows 7 CD to do same Reset .   3. Nice hack! Now I have to disable Sethc.exe on all of my Windows machines.
  4. at the end when I change the sethc.exe to cmd it says "the system cannot find the path specified".
