Reset Your Ubuntu Password

http://www.fosstek.com In this video we will discuss how to quickly reset your Ubuntu sign-on/admin password. I bumped into this scenario the other day by accident. I am usually pretty good when it comes to remembering my passwords. However, I had setup a test virtual machine in Virtual Box using Ubuntu 14.04 and for whatever reason, I used a unique password for it. When I tried to sign into the virtual machines, I couldn't get in. So I found a way to reset the password and figured someone else out there may be able to benefit from this information as well.   13. Thanks for your video. However, when I typed passwd myusername, the terminal said myusername does not exit. I am 100% sure that myusername is correct. I was wondering if you maybe know how to fix that? My Ubuntu system runs in VirtualBox. Thank you!
