Others have copied my video, but they fail to show you the critical details required for a perfect restoration to factory new settings. This is the first video uploaded to Youtube that gives you all the information you need to get your laptop up and running factory new again. Today you will discover how to restore most Toshiba satellite laptop / notebook computers without needing that slow, annoying, and often times lost restore DVD. Keep in mind this doesn't work for all of the laptops, especially the older ones with smaller hard drives. I have been informed it does work on the following models. Toshiba C655 Toshiba l655 Toshiba L655-S5154 Toshiba L755-S5170 Toshiba L635 Toshiba Satellite c660d-16p Toshiba NB305-N442BL I have been informed it DOES NOT work on the following models: Toshiba a300 1qe Toshiba L755d-110 Toshiba c50 a441 Mixed results: Toshiba a200(-2B7) Be sure to backup all of your important documents beforehand.   3. I followed the steps, but do not get to the three options after selecting recovery of factory on my L675D and get an error Error: : 05-0172-045D. Is my laptop toast? I noticed the recovery for this Satellite laptop is not listed in your above blog.

  10. I have a Toshiba Satellite c6550-s5200 i was in the process of doing factory reset it started process then went to dark screen and stayed there im afraid to shut it off cause it will probably screw my hard drive if anybody has a answer i would appreciate it

  13. I have toshiba A205 sat. with disks but will not boot from them even when i try to boot from cd just boots windows. i hate toshiba laptops

I turned on my laptop and found this warning but I don't want to delete my files - they are very important (my work and university papers)! I also don't have a backup :( please help me.   20. I didn't get the warning pop up. It will boot back up and go to a black screen with sayings no bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key... Could you help figure it out?
