"Hope for the best and plan for the worst" is a good motto when thinking about disaster recovery. In this session we cover the various kinds of DR that you can do with Microsoft Azure from the use of Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to recovery your application in the cloud (or on-premises), and to the use of 3rd party DR tools with Azure as your remote recovery site. We cover the design decisions necessary to select the right disaster recovery plan for various workloads. We cover how you think about different locations, copies, and media for data storage, network throughput and congestion considerations, region selection and capacity consideration and more. We then demonstrate the use of ASR and Azure as a DRaaS option. https://ignite.microsoft.com/
