  2. Hi there. Your video is very informative. I bought an RTL-SDR receiver which is almost similar to yours. I also downloaded the software that you used but when I click on setting in order to choose the name of my device, it doesn't allow me to do. That is why , I believe, the software doesn't see the RTL-SDR receiver. Any advice?

  4. Thanks for the video. I just ordered one to use as a spectrum display of stations up and down the amateur bands, particularly the 20 meter band where I hang-out. I know I can read the manual on line but I am guessing it does not have a BFO so you cannot directly listen to SSB. Some say to connect it to the IF output of the receiver (I use a Collins R-390) but I don't see the sense in that - maybe I am missing something. Thanks again - good video.
  5. Extremely vague. Price and what type of antenna used. You don't even mention if you use the antenna that came with it where to get the software and what the software was. If there is many software types to get which ones are best for what types of projects etc. if the radio has limits or issues or cons or pros.

  14. I received the same package and trying to run SDRSharp in Mac OSX Sierra. Unfortunately, after spending whole couldn't make it run as my OSX Sierra shows error macports. However, As you said, the antenna comes with the package might not work to receive FM or AM signal decently!!! Could you please suggest me what kind of antenna should I use to receive the signal from 526 KHz to 1605.05 KHz. Thanks.

    Somebody say that not work on vista,is hard instal with that ZADIG,....Can hack computer into safe mode?

  18. My rtl-sdr cannot go into rtl-sdr mode ,it says its a e4000 tuner ???? does anyone know why.
