Link: http://www.buy.com/videoclip/sandisk-secureaccess-software/81791.html Protecting your data with SanDisk® SecureAccess™ software is easy - simply drag-and-drop your files into a private folder or "vault" on your USB flash drive and access to your data is protected by a personal password and automatic 128-bit AES encryption. You also get the added protection of secure online backup (up to 2 GB*) offered by SanDisk's online backup partner.

  1. This application does not work. The application might encrypt but the password functions did not work at all. I had to remove it from the hard drive.
  2. Why would you make an app that shares other peoples files??? Do u know how horrible it feels to open your sandisk & brand new files and have no idea how they got there??
  3. I lost my sand disk vault password ..plz help me
  4. Do I have to install this? Or am I allowed to just delete it.
  5. Bullshit..... i purchase it but its not as per said in the video
  6. The JPEG files I have stored securely cannot be viewed as thumbnails,. Also my files cannot be sorted by date modified, only alphabetically. These are serious setbacks for me which makes these drives worthless. Any ideas??
  7. Answered all the questions I came expected to see asked; for example, is the software compatible with Linux or Mac, does the backup service work automatically, Is it free? Great interview!
  8. This is complete garbage. It created 0 byte files and folders, and deleted the files I had on there.  I was able to recover them using an undelete app, but am now stuck with dat files I cannot decrypt to recover, and are not seen by the app.
  9. Straight up Garbage, doesn't even respond when i try to move my data to another computer and this is supposed to be a 2.0 version, can't believe money was wasted on this piece of useless garbage eating crap.
  10. 1. Do not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use Sandisk SecureAccess if :
    - Your files could get you in trouble with a Government (Travelers, Reporters, Rights activists, Etc.)
    - Your files contain valuable corporate intelligence and your adversaries have corporate resources.
    - Your life, freedom or that of others may be at risk through unexpected disclosure

    2. Do use Sandisk SecureAccess if :
    - You're keeping data protected from opportunists, nosey parents, casual theft, other employees, etc

    3. Do not use cloud support to send password encrypted copies unless you're happy with Sandisk themselves and their employees, contractors, etc. having access to your data.

    4. Don't even get me started on Microsofts BitLocker ...

    5. Be aware that keyloggers, trojans and other unseen nasties will have access any time that you do... and even long after you've locked the data back up and walked away, provided the key is in the machine.

    6. Did I mention Bitlocker?  Seriously.... DON'T! .... NOT EVER!

For anything else there are better (and free) solutions out there which do a Grade-A job of protecting data in storage/transit.
  11. How do you decrypt files
  12. Id rather buy a normal usb stick and use a encryption package. Or an ironkey but there very expensive.
  13. 128 bit is strong but it could be stronger 256bit or higher. Also i hate the software.
  14. can you delete it on your USB as a outsider ?
  15. I don't like because there's no instructions unless your tech savy I guess
  16. hey sandisk, stop putting your virus spam crap on your usb sticks.
  17. oh! ur sansa looks like wonderful, but awesome while using it. what`s refreshing i.e endlessily prosed for alonger time?
  18. doesnt help
  19. Please put up a video about how to get rid of this useless pain in the ass app.!!! Stay out of the software biz.. nobody wants to deal with proprietary software in order to use what is supposed to be a fast as in instant usable small volume. what next? security on floppies?
  20. How can I delete this useless time consuming application.. PLEASE PUT UP A VIDEO REGARDING HOW TO DO THAT !!! Next you'll be trying to sell ppl software and log in cloud only.... LOL That would only haste your companies demise... Stick to making hardware which has been going down in quality.. my last Sandisk died in the first month!!
