Buy it on Amazon - http://lon.tv/t3yv0 (affiliate link) This $99 external Seagate hard drive also doubles as a battery powered wireless server for mobile devices. Media and other files can be loaded into the drive wirelessly or via a direct connection via USB. It supports iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android, Kindle Fire, and Windows devices. The drive can support up to three users simultaneously and will also extend an internet connection through the drive so you can still access the web while connected to it. It is basic transportation but it works well. The app is a little rough around the edges (especially when it comes to photo browsing) but it works adequately enough to stream videos. An onboard battery can power the device for 5-6 hours. There is also a web server built into the hard drive which can access most of the media without the need for the app on any device. Overall this is a good value for what it is. 15. Hello, thank you for your review. I have a question: I tried to watch a 2gb movie on my tablet using this stuff but when I press the "play" button, there's "not enough memory on device" notification popping out. Do I have to have 2gb of free memory just to watch this film?
  16. question. does it create it's own WiFi? and if it does it show up as WiFi network on the iPad mini 4 or a device waiting to be paired? 20. So I bought a use one on ebay and try setting it up. When I am done downloading the seagate media onto my iphone and I didn't see anything on my wifi. Went to setting on the iphone then to the wifi area and no seagate on the wifi network. Turned off wifi and on again, no seagate wireless on network. Went into Seagate app and it says no compatible devices on network. Click on rescan home Wifi network. Nothing show up. What's going on? Does anybody know?
